The more minimalistic a design, the easier it is to ‘see’ the message. Because it’s the one thing that the customers see upon arriving on a website.
When this main message or imagery is convincing, then customers will stay on the page and keep scrolling.
The customer makes this decision within just a few seconds.
That’s why it’s the design’s job to make it as easy as possible for the customer to understand the message and to get convinced emotionally.
The less elements there are on the website, the better it is. Because there’s no distraction from the main emotion.
